IDOLiSH7 Beginner Guide

This tutorial article is image-heavy. This tutorial has images of the old User Interface, however it's contents are fairly the same.

After waiting for the game to load, you will see either screens. They'll change each time you finish the main story.

Upon starting the game and letting the game download the necessary data, the first thing you will come across is one of the two title screens. Tap anywhere but the three orange buttons on the bottom-right of the screen to proceed. The three orange buttons are buttons that lead to; Data Repair (データ修復): Reverts everything to its default options. Data Transfer: If you used to play the game but deleted and saved the transfer credentials, press this button, if not proceed with the tutorial. Explained in detail here Contact Us: Form for contacting Bandai Namco Online when you have a problem with the game. Game ID: Randomly generated numbers that are used as your friend code and can also be used to contact support when your account is missing. So, write it down somewhere!

Once you tap somewhere this screen will appear. It's asking you to generate a transfer password for your account. You will only get the 5 Stellar Stones it's talking about here if this is your first time issuing one. You won't get this reward if it is not your first time. You can wait and do this until later or do it now, but be sure to do it at some point in time as it will save your account in case something bad happens. This is also your chance for if you used to play the game but deleted and saved the transfer credentials, or won an account in a giveaway press the second button button from the top and enter in the required information for each slot. If none of that applies to you, proceed with the tutorial by pressing the X mark on the side.

The game will then ask if you agree to their Terms and Conditions. Press the round pink button on the right to agree/proceed. The game will further ask for your story character's first name, with the default being Tsumugi (紡). Don't worry you can change your name later when the Tutorial portion is over. After entering your desired name in the given area, press the pink button on the right to proceed. Finally, the game will ask if you would like to download voice data for the characters. Press the pink button on the right to proceed and the game will download the voice data.

After all the data have been downloaded, the game will proceed to the Chapter 1: Part 1 of the main story. You cannot yet access all the other areas of the game unless you have finished reading up until Chapter 1: Part 4.

After completing Part 1 to 4 of Chapter 1, you will then head to the tutorial session for the rhythm game. In addition to explaining the basics, you will be given the chance to fine-tune the rate at which you are able to tap. You can change this at a later time. You will be able to test out your settings with a brief play session of "MONSTER GENERATiON". After the rhythm game tutorial, you will have to resume reading the story up until Chapter 1: Part 6, as all other areas still remain locked.

After clearing Part 6, you will now be able to choose your starter card from among the seven members of IDOLiSH7. (Bottom left image:) Press the pink button and it will lead to one last confirmation screen or press the blue button to look at a different character. (Bottom right image:) The blue button on the right will show you the card information, which include what the card looks like, stats, skills, and intensive training slots. The pink button on the left will confirm your choice. All cards come from the Ordinary Days set and are in their SR forms. Don't hesitate too much on your choice as you can get these cards Fairly Often.

in-game tutorial ends with a dialog from Otoharu Takanashi and the collection of the tutorial completion rewards. Which are 10 Stellar Stones, 1000 Friend Points, and 100000 Gold.
